Happy, Free Ranging Chickens in the countryside
Meet Chip, our six year old hen who still lays eggs. She is a Barred Rock.
Next up is Red Rooster. He is a beautiful mix of breeds.
Then we have a young Aracuana hen, one of our new ones. She will lay blue eggs!

About Marigold Farm
Linden and Alder love chickens. And ducks and now turkeys, too.
They thrive as they care for all of them, and learn the responsibilities of caring for animals and our hobby farm. They are now learning about farming as a business and worked hard all fall and winter to rebuild the chicken coop, build a duck tractor, and raise new chicks.
The flock is now 48 hens, 9 ducks, and five turkeys.
